UO outshot UC Davis by a 33-17 margin and, arguably more significant, held a 16-4 advantage in draw controls.

Defensively, sophomore Rachael Martinez posted three caused turnovers and three ground balls, while sophomore Gina Hoffmire added two CTs and three GBs to go with 1-for-1 shooting… Sophomores Alyssa Cranska and Kjersten Nordmeyer split goalkeeping chores… Nordmeyer patrolled the cage for almost 39 minutes, posting seven saves against five goals.

UP NEXT: UC Davis continues MPSF play in a Sunday road game at Saint Mary’s, one of five straight conference contests to start the season… The Aggies have traditionally played at least two MPSF games in the opening weeks (2007 being an exception), but never more than three… The first non-conference action will be at home vs. Vermont on March 11.
