Yes, that Duke. After this season, La Costa Canyon senior Spencer Peterson is off to play for the Blue Devils, one of the premier college lacrosse programs in the country, which makes Peterson one of the premier players in the San Diego Section.

 Season outlook:

Can anyone crack the big four? La Costa Canyon, Torrey Pines, Poway and Coronado have traditionally been the section’s best, and all return outstanding talent. LCC, last year’s champ, has been to the title game the past six years. Bishop’s and Santa Fe Christian have programs on the rise.
