College Lacrosse Recruiting: NCAA Division III Cannot Offer “Athletically Related Financial Aid” (Victory Collegiate Consulting)

What NCAA divisions do not offer athletic scholarships?

Division 3 programs throughout the country are not permitted to offer prospects with any form of athletically related financial aid. The Ivy Group, along with The Patriot League do not offer any form of athletics aid as well.

University Of Denver Men’s Lacrosse To Face #4 Notre Dame On Saturday


denvernotredamelacrosseThe University of Denver men’s lacrosse team will host the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Invesco Field at Mile High on Saturday, April 11, 2009, as part of the 6th Annual Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Showdown. Action will face-off at 1:30 p.m.

 

Also taking part will be the Colorado State Rams as they will host Lindenwood at 4 p.m.

 

“I would like to thank Mac Freeman and the staff from the Broncos/Outlaws for giving us the opportunity to play Notre Dame at one of the finest sports facilities in the world,” said head coach Jamie Munro.  “We hope that lacrosse fans come out in droves to watch the first Division I lacrosse game ever played at Invesco Field at Mile High.”

 

Tickets for the 6th Annual Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Showdown are on sale at all Ticket Master locations. Fans can also purchase them through www.DenverOutlaws.com or by calling (303) OUT-LAWS. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youths (12 & under).

Jason McFadden scored four times and had two assists, Patrick Fanshaw had four goals, Phil Castrova scored once with an assist, and Tony Rossi, Frank Kelly and Tyler Adelsberger all scored once as Calvert Hall overcame a two-goal, third-quarter deficit for a 12-8 victory over Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference rival Boys’ Latin.
