Cameron Piorek Update: April 2009 Marked One-Year Since Injury And He Continues His Rehabilitation

I hope this update finds you well. It has been pretty crazy here at the Piorek household and like many of you we are ready for summer!!!!

Cam has had a few exciting things happen. He did recieve a varsity letter for lacrosse in May and was selected for Junior Honor Escort. This tradition honors both the graduating seniors and the juniors who have been selected to perform this final “salute” to the graduating class.
This season has also had its challenges, April was a hard month because it was the one year mark of Cameron’s injury.

Cam is also a little down because summer football is starting……..
We have made contact with the Quad Rugby team ( they practice in oceanside) and will be going to a practice so Cam can check it out.
Finally we would like to invite you to the grand opening for OC Motorsports this Sat June13th. KROQ radio station will be there along with the Metal Mulisha. Also a donation will be made to the Jeremy Lusk foundation. For more info contact ocmotorsports.com.

Hope to see you there!

Best Of 2009 College Men’s Lacrosse (Video)

This year’s theme was “Who will be the hero today?” so I felt the song fit well. I got the idea from the ESPN 2008 College Football video, which completely owns this video. Thanks to all who submitted their opinion of the best play of 2009, and sorry if your’s isn’t in the video.
