“Adding a multi-Grammy nominated artist like AKON to LXM PRO dramatically elevates the profile of our new initiative,” said company CMO Jason Rosen, “the addition of popular live music and diverse activities creates a multi-faceted ‘festival’ environment which extends our reach and echoes our mission to rebrand the sport of lacrosse to mainstream audiences.”

This entertaining, VIP, celebrity-driven event is where sports, music and young Hollywood collide.

Player Press has partnered with LXM PRO to become the exclusive online home of LXM PRO featuring player blogs, photos and more.

LXM PRO was founded in early 2009 by former University of Maryland All-Americans Scott Hochstadt and Xander Ritz, along with sports and entertainment industry specialists Jason Rosen and Doug Schaer of Silent Partner Media, LLC.

Hochstadt, LXM PRO’s President, is a former three-time All-American and four-time All-ACC Tournament member who parlayed his Division I success into a pro career in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and Major League Lacrosse (MLL) before founding Adrenaline Apparel, Adrenaline Lacrosse, and the Starz Foundation, which have provided a vehicle to pioneer the growth of lacrosse at the youth level in California and beyond.

Considered the “fastest growing sport in America,” according to Sports Illustrated, Lacrosse’s popularity continues to grow in the U.S. and around the world. NCAA lacrosse has grown in epic proportions over the past five years and professional lacrosse continues to grow. Lacrosse has recently penetrated the mainstream, via Hollywood and pop culture, as the sport is currently featured in top celebrity magazines and popular TV shows such as 90210. With two lacrosse feature films in development and a video game in the works, lacrosse continues to grow.
