Men’s Lacrosse World Championships: 1982 World Lacrosse Championships Were Held In The United States For The First Time In Baltimore Where The U.S. Defeated Australia 22-14 In Final

Northern California High School Girls Lacrosse: Los Gatos Girls Lacrosse (13-5) Has Three Players Named First Team All-Santa Clara Valley Athletic League (De Anza Division)

The Los Gatos girls lacrosse team had three players named first team all-league in the De Anza Division this year. Senior Delaine De Beer and juniors Noel Painter and Danielle Trapani each earned their spots with solid efforts this year.

Trapani led the Wildcats with 73 goals and earned her all-league spot as a midfielder. De Beer, who scored 47 goals, and Painter, who found the back of the net 39 times, were each named first team attackers.
