Lacrosse On Television: MTV’s “Made” To Feature Reigning 2-Time NCAA Division II Champion Adelphi Women’s Lacrosse Team

The Adelphi University women’s lacrosse team will be featured on the MTV series MADE tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. The show will include Miranda, a local high school lacrosse player, who wants to become a college lacrosse player.

MTV’S MADE is a self-improvement reality television series broadcast on MTV. The series follows teens who have a goal and want to be “made” into things like singers, athletes, dancers, skateboarders, etc. The teens are joined by a “Made Coach”, an expert in their chosen field, who tries to help them attain their goals over the course of several weeks. MADE documents the process the teens undergo as they try to achieve their goal. Made is currently in its 10th season, and has recently started a series in Canada, France ,Germany and Turkey.

The Panthers are coming off back-to-back National Championships, the first Division II Women’s Lacrosse team ever to do so. The team also returns three of the four major IWLCA Positional Award winners from last season.
