Attackman Brendan Mundorfscored all three of his goals in the first half and added three assists as the Denver Outlaws (4-2) used a strong first half effort to snap a two-game losing streak with a 16-8 Major League Lacrosse victory over the Ohio Machine at Selby Stadium on Saturday evening. While the Machine snapped a two-game losing streak, the Machine lost its second straight game. Led by a goal and an assist from Mundorf, the Outlaws sprinted out to a 6-0 lead in the first 17 minutes of the game. With 11:56 left in the first half, attackman Chazz Woodson snapped the Machine’s drought by scoring an unassisted goal, but the Outlaws answered by scoring four straight goals to extend the advantage to 11-1. With 50 seconds left in the second quarter, defenseman Kyle Hartzell scored an unassisted marker to trim the Machine’s deficit to 11-2.
