The Ohio State men’s lacrosse team will host six games in Columbus and travel for seven contests in the 2013 regular season, head coach Nick Myers announced. The team, ranked 18th at the end of 2012, will take on four 2012 NCAA tournament squads and six teams that finished in the Top 20 last season. Ohio State begins the regular season vs. Detroit Feb. 9 inside Woody Hayes Athletic Center. The Buckeyes, opening their campaign vs. the Titans for the third year in a row, are 4-0 all-time vs. Detroit, including an 11-6 victory in 2012. After a road game at Jacksonville Feb. 17 as part of the Moe’s Southwest Grill Classic – the first meeting between the teams – Ohio State will return home to host Marquette Feb. 23. The game marks the first for Marquette in program history as it joins the Division I lacrosse ranks this season.
