NCAA Lacrosse: Northwestern Women’s Lacrosse Releases Fall Ball Schedule Featuring Ohio State, Notre Dame, Marquette, Navy, And North Carolina

With the Wildcats set to officially report to campus on Wednesday (Sept. 11), Northwestern women’s lacrosse and five-time national coach of the year Kelly Amonte Hiller have announced their slate of competitions for the 2013 fall ball season.
2013 Northwestern Fall Ball Schedule
Sunday, Sept. 29: vs. Ohio State, Notre Dame (Indianapolis, Ind.) — Times TBA
Friday, Oct. 4: vs. Notre Dame (Evanston) — 8:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 8: vs. Marquette (Evanston) — 7 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 12: Navy Playday — All Day
Sunday, Oct. 13: vs. North Carolina — Time TBA

Fans of the seven-time national champions have multiple opportunities to see the ‘Cats live at Lakeside Field in Evanston this fall, beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, when Northwestern hosts a familiar foe in the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. The following week, Northwestern will welcome second-year Division I program Marquette to Lakeside at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Both games are free and open to the general public.
Northwestern’s first outside competition of the fall season comes in the form of a double-header in Indianapolis on Sunday, Sept. 29. Hosted at Park Tudor School in Indy, the day-long women’s lacrosse event begins at 11 a.m. and features Northwestern, Notre Dame and NU’s fellow American Lacrosse Conference member Ohio State. (Check back to in the near future for an exact schedule of the day’s games.)
NU’s second road trip this fall will take the Wildcats to the campus of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., where on Saturday, Oct. 12, the ‘Cats will match up with several opponents at the all-day Navy Playday event. On Sunday (Oct. 13), Northwestern will stay in Annapolis to take on defending NCAA champion North Carolina (Time TBA).
