This past Columbus Day Weekend, the Wounded Warrior Project joined with Sienna college for a four team scrimmage to benefit the WWP. The men’s lacrosse teams from Colgate University, Skidmore College and Western New England University were all present for this great event.

NCAA Lacrosse: Air Force Men’s Lacrosse And Notre Dame Complete Successful Weekend With Scrimmage, Ropes Course And Football Tailgate
“The fall season is a time to continue to come together as a team and for players to step up and fill roles,” said assistant coach Bill Wilson. “While this scrimmage was a good step forward for our team at this early point in the 2013-14 season, there is a lot of time before our regular season begins in February. The scrimmage was a good test for us to evaluate where we are as a team and what we need to do in the months ahead before our 2014 season opening game versus Denver.”
While battling on the field, the Falcons and the Irish came together off the field as well. On Saturday, Air Force helped facilitate Notre Dame’s journey through the Academy’s ropes course, while the two teams met for a pre-game tailgate before the Air Force and Notre Dame football teams faced each other on the gridiron.
Head coach Eric Seremet helped give the Irish another memorable experience before their journey back to South Bend, Ind., on Sunday, leading them on a sunrise hike up the Incline in Manitou Springs, one of the Falcons’ frequent training spots.
