Charley Toomey, head coach of Loyola University Maryland’s men’s lacrosse team, announced a 14-game regular-season schedule for the 2014 season that includes the Greyhounds’ first games as members of the Patriot League, continuing rivalries with pas opponents and the renewal of challenges with the addition of games with the University of Virginia and Penn State University.
The schedule will test the Greyhounds, who finished the 2013 season with an 11-5 record and earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament, from the outset. Four of Loyola’s first six games are against teams that also competed in last year’s NCAA Tournament.
