1. Torrey Pines (Calif.) 5-0

One week after taking over the top spot, the Falcons continued to roll. Torrey Pines knocked off Palos Verdes (Calif.) 6-3 to wrap up the week. Next is a match-up against undefeated Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.).

2. Arapahoe (Colo.), 6-0

The Warriors continued their early season surge, including a key out-of-state victory over Southlake (Texas). Arapahoe followed that up with victories over Littleton (Colo.), Eaglecrest (Colo.) and Cherokee Trail (Colo.).

3. St. Ignatius Prep (Calif.), 3-1

The Wildcats bounced back from a loss to Torrey Pines with a dominant 19-8 victory over Coronado (Calif.). St. Ignatius begins West Catholic Athletic League play this week against Archbishop Mitty (5-2), which has won five consecutive games after opening the season with two losses.

4. La Costa Canyon (Calif.), 4-0

The Mavericks gave Westview (Calif.) its first loss of the season, 7-6, but the week only got better. La Costa Canyon also knocked off Cathedral Catholic (Calif.) and then toppled Fallbrook (Calif.). The Mavericks have put together a challenging schedule and have challenging out-of-state games with national implications against Georgetown Prep (Md.) and Salesianum (Del.).

5. Bellevue (Wash.), 4-0

The Wolverines have not allowed any more than six goals in any game so far this season. Bellevue crushed Roosevelt (Wash.) 20-1 to end the week. Hank Bethke and Chase Birkeland finished with four goals each.

6. Cherry Creek (Colo.), 5-0

The Bruins are right in the title mix again by dominating their early in-state schedule. Cherry Creek heads to the East Cost this week to take on a pair of tough, Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association in Loyola Blakefield (2-2) and Severn (4-0).

7. St. Margaret’s Episcopal (Calif.), 4-0

The Tartans rolled through their early in-state schedule and picked up a signature victory with a 14-13 victory over Mount St. Joseph (Md.). St. Margaret’s plays Marina before heading into another huge test against No. 3 St. Ignatius Prep on April 3.

8. Cathedral Catholic (Calif.), 3-2

After a season-opening loss to No. 1 Torrey Pines, Cathedral Catholic picked up three consecutive victories before falling to No. 4 La Costa Canyon. Cathedral Catholic plays Patrick Henry (Calif.) before hosting Colorado powers, Air Academy and Denver East.

9. Corona del Mar (Calif.), 4-0

The Sea Kings had two impressive out-of-state victories over St. John’s (Texas) and Fort Collins United (Colo.). Corona del Mar then returned to in-state opponents and handed San Clemente (Calif.) its first setback of the season with a 4-3 victory.

10. J Serra Catholc, (Calif), 6-0

The Lions enter the poll on the heals of five consecutive victories, including a huge 11-9 win over the Bishop’s School (Calif.). Mitchell Kingsley (Hofstra) had four goals and three assists. J Serra Catholic followed that up with an impressive 15-10 victory over Coronado.
