1. Amador Valley (Calif.), 5-0
The Dons maintain the top spot with more impressive victories. Amador Valley handed Novato its first loss and also topped out-of-state foe Kent Denver (Colo.). Amador Valley faces three straight road tests against La Costa Canyon (Calif.), Coronado (Calif.) and Torrey Pines (Calif.).

2. St. Ignatius (Calif.), 6-0
The Wildcats enter the poll with an impressive start to the season. St. Ignatius picked up a solid, 8-7 victory over a tough Novato (Calif.) squad. St. Ignatius has another big game March 31 against The Menlo School (Calif.).

3. Air Academy (Colo.), 5-0
The Kadets have been dominant defensively and have yet to allow 10 goals in a game this season. Air Academy clashes with No. 2 Centaurus (Colo.) this week in Colorado’s biggest game this week.

4. Chatfield (Colo.), 3-0
The Chargers went into their break with some solid momentum. Chatfield returns to in-state action this week against Douglas Co.-Castle View (Colo.) and Wheat Ridge (Colo.).

5. Centaurus (Colo.), 5-1
The Warriors had a solid showing against East Coast teams last week, beating Poly Prep (N.Y.) 18-3 before dropping a close game to the Flint Hill School (D.C.), 9-5.

6. Menlo School (Calif.), 6-1
Menlo went into its break with only one loss – a 11-9 setback to Amador Valley. The Knights face a tough battle this against St. Ignatius, which is one of the key games in the state this week.

7. Novato (Calif.), 8-2
The Hornets suffered their first loss of the season against No. 1 Amador Valley, but bounced back with victories over Sir Francis Drake (Calif.) and Justin-Siena (Calif.). Novato had another tough setback against St. Ignatius but their tough schedule should benefit them in the playoffs.

8. Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.), 3-0
The Knight have rolled through the early part of their schedule and have not allowed more than five goals in a game. Foothill-Santa Ana will likely provide matchup problems for its opposition for most of the season.

9. Poway (Calif.), 5-0
The Titans have shown solid balance in their victories this season and picked up a solid 13-10 victory over Torrey Pines this week. With seven seniors, including attacker Claire Amabile, Poway has the experience to make a deep run in the playoffs.

10. The Bishop’s School (Calif.) 3-0
The Knights enter the poll this week with a strong start to the season. The Bishop’s School picked up three victories last week over Carlsbad (Calif.), Rancho Bernardo (Calif.) and Cathedral Catholic (Calif.).
