NCAA Women's Rankings April 28

Who’s Hot? Loyola (+4): The Greyhounds punched their ticket to the NCAA tournament with a dominant performance in the Patriot League, capturing the title in their first season in the league to run their streak to 12 straight after a rough patch early. Penn State: (+2): A narrow win over Princeton sends Penn State into what is sure to be a tough ALC tournament, featuring three Top 10 teams as well as the Nittany Lions. Who’s Not? Duke (-5): A week after upsetting North Carolina to make a big jump up, the Blue Devils take a slide back down after falling against Virginia in the ACC tournament. Stony Brook (-4): The Seawolves took one on the chin against America East foe Vermont over the weekend, falling by a goal as they enter the league tournament week. Ohio State (-3): A slip against ALC foe Johns Hopkins drops the Buckeyes a couple spot going into the league tournament, with the Blue Jays, Northwestern and Ohio State slotting to 5-6-7 in this week’s rankings.
