Major League Lacrosse: CBS Sports Network Broadcasts 3 Games Live May 31-June 2 (Video)


Major League Lacrosse has 3 Games this week live on CBS Sports Network. Friday May 31st Stephen Berger and the New York Lizards take on Matt Danowski and the Charlotte Hounds at 7:30 pm ET.

On Saturday June 1st Kevin Crowley and the Hamilton Nationals head to Annapolis to take on Kyle Dixon and the Chesapeake Bayhawks in what should me the marquee matchup of the week.

Sunday at 5 pm ET Steele Stanwick and Marcus Holman lead the Ohio Machine against Ned Crotty and the Rochester Rattlers.

Major League Lacrosse and CBS Sports Network Television Schedule

Major League Lacrosse (MLL) and CBS Sports Network announced today the television schedule for the 2013 season. The network will air 20 nationally televised games in addition to all 18 episodes of ‘Inside the MLL,’ the League’s 30-minute magazine show.
“We are very excited to expand the number of games on CBS Sports Network to 20 this season,” said MLL Commissioner David Gross. “Paired with our weekly magazine show ‘Inside the MLL’ it will give our fans unfettered access to the best MLL has to offer.”
The first nationally televised game of the season will be Saturday, May 18 featuring the Rochester Rattlers and the Denver Outlaws, from Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The game will air at 10:00 PM, ET on a one hour same-day delayon CBS Sports Network. The Network will feature several high profile games throughout the season, including Denver’sannual fireworks game on Thursday, July 4, when the Outlaws host the New York Lizards at 9:00 PM, ET. Additionally, CBS Sports Network will televise the Rochester home game against the Boston Cannons, from Kennesaw State University Stadium in Kennesaw, Ga.

Major League Lacrosse, the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced today that CBS Sports Network will feature 20 live, nationally televised games throughout the 2013 season.  "We're excited to be able to continue and expand our relationship with CBS Sports Network," said MLL Commissioner David Gross. "We'll now have one third of all MLL games on the Network which will really service our fans and their appetite to watch the best lacrosse in the world."  The deal includes an additional six games from the inaugural season of MLL on CBS Sports Network in 2012, as well as 18 episodes of "Inside the MLL," the league's 30-minute magazine show. The show provides fans with an inside look at MLL's teams, players and coaches, including behind-the-scenes video and analysis prior to each game.

NCAA Lacrosse: CBS Sports Network To Televise Nine Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Games In 2012


CBS Sports Network will televise at least nine Patriot League men’s and women’s lacrosse contests during the 2012 season. The schedule begins on Friday, March 30 at 7 p.m. as Navy hosts League rival Lehigh at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md.

A pair of League contests will be featured the following weekend, with the first being a women’s lacrosse matchup. American will visit Navy Friday, April 13 at 7 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. On Saturday, April 14, the annual Army-Navy tilt in men’s lacrosse will be televised from Michie Stadium in West Point, N.Y., at 12 p.m.

The next Patriot League contest to be televised is a rematch of the 2011 men’s championship, as Colgate visits Bucknell Friday, April 20 at 7 p.m. at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. The following day, CBS Sports Network will televise Navy hosting in-state rival Johns Hopkins Saturday, April 21 in Annapolis starting at 12 p.m.

For the fourth consecutive year, CBS Sports Network will televise all three games of the Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Tournament, extending its stretch as the longest running men’s lacrosse conference tournament to be nationally televised in its entirety. The semifinals will take place Friday, April 27 at 5 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., while the championship is set for Sunday, April 29 at 3 p.m. All three games will be hosted by the tournament’s No. 1 seed, which goes to the team with the best regular-season record in League play.

National League Lacrosse: “CBS Sports Network” Announces NLL Schedule For 2012 Season Culminating With Championship Game On May 19


The National Lacrosse League has announced the schedule of games that will air live and in primetime on CBS Sports Network during the 2012 season. The league and CBS Sports Network earlier announced a two-year partnership to broadcast games live across North America. All games will be aired in High Definition.

The 2012 broadcast schedule will be comprised of eight games, culminating with the 2012 NLL Championship Game. The broadcast schedule begins with the first of four consecutive Saturday night broadcasts on April 7th, as the Philadelphia Wings take on the Buffalo Bandits, live from First Niagara Center in Buffalo.

During the playoffs, CBS Sports Network will broadcast four games: one Divisional Semifinal Game, both Divisional Finals and the Championship Game.
