Maryland High School Lacrosse – Gilman Vs. Georgetown Prep
(March 19, 2009: Baltimore, MD 21210) The Gilman Greyhounds defeated the visiting Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas lacrosse squad by a final score of 9-6 in Thursday’s non-league bout.
With the triumph, Gilman betters its record to 2-0 on the season. The Greyhounds host LaSalle (Wyndmoor, PA) to play the Explorers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 25. The Explorers go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
With the defeat, Georgetown Prep drops to 4-1 on the season. The Little hoyas travel to Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Gonzaga lost 6-5 in their recent non-league bout against Bullis (Potomac, MD)

High School Game of the Week took us to Maryland, for the regional clash between the Landon Bears of D.C. and the GIlman Greyhounds of Baltimore. Gilman lived up to their preseason hype, defending their home turf with a 16-9 victory.
