Adrenaline Lacrosse completed its first annual audit of western lacrosse players committed to play NCAA lacrosse in the 2009 season. The resulting numbers are a strong indicator of the explosion in talented western players and also the role that Adrenaline Lacrosse has played in this explosion. Impressively, of the 145 players from the West who were on 2009 NCAA rosters, 93 came though Adrenaline Recruiting Programs. More impressive are the statistics on specific pockets in the West, such as the state of California, where 46 out of 50 NCAA players, 93%, came through Adrenaline recruiting events.
With the addition of the Adrenaline Showcase last summer Adrenaline is confident those success rates will continue to climb. Rory Doucette VP of Recruitment and Team Operations explains; “The recruiters have been thrilled with their ability to find western players at our events. They don’t want to travel all over the West to find players.
Unfortunately, with the way the talent out West is spread out over such a large area, especially when compared to the East. They simply can’t take the time to visit every pocket of lacrosse. We provide a great service to the recruiters by getting the top talent in one place at one time; making it much easier for them to find the guys they want. I was very excited, but not altogether shocked when I saw our success rates. As a former NCAA recruiter I knew how valuable these events were. While we are very enthusiastic about these numbers, we remain focused on making our events even more efficient in the future.”
